A snug studio apartment with slanted ceilings, this short-term rental posed the fun challenge of having to maximize space and light. So, what did we do? We whipped up a sleek marble kitchen island, and created extra storage with a nifty built-in unit, tucked into an alcove. We did some design magic with mirrors along the main wall, bringing a sense of lightness and serenity.
